Victorian large Holy Spirit Pendant

Victorian large Holy Spirit Pendant in 18 karat gold. Originating from Normandy, this pendant, remarkable for its size, depicts a dove with its head downwards, holding an olive branch in its beak. The bird is suspended from a knot richly decorated with rhinestones, imitating diamonds. At the bottom, faceted red, green, and blue glass adorns the olive branch. A ring on the reverse of the pendant allows it to be worn on a chain or velvet ribbon. Norman regional pendant, circa 1810, France.
