This jewel has already gone to its new home
Sapphires and diamond band ring in 18 karat yellow gold (750). Three round sapphires adorn the ring, between each sapphire are two 8/8 cut diamonds.
The ring is finely chiselled at the gallery and shoulders, decorated with scroll shapes. Early 20th century ring, Edwardian period.
The sapphires in this ring have an intense blue colour.
Ring tested as 18 karat gold
Finger size: 50 EU or 5.25 US (sizing possible)
Width of the ring: 4 mm
Estimated total weight of diamonds : 0.04 carat
Estimated weight of sapphires: central sapphire 0.23 carat; total 0.49 carat.
Condition: wears on the stones borders, usual scratches on gold.
