Lion Gustave Soury medal in 18 karat gold. Art Nouveau pendant depicting a lion, surrounded by sinuous and undulating lines, known as “whiplash”, emblematic of the Art Nouveau movement. Gustave Soury (1884-1966) is an illustrator passionate about the world of animals and the circus, his work is exhibited at the MUCEM in Marseille. Art Nouveau medal, signed G.Soury, circa 1900, France.
