Antique Norman clasp in 18 karat gold (750 thousandths). Rectangular clasp with blue and white enamel decoration representing on one side a bird flying away, leaving behind a flaming heart and a house; on the other side a blue enameled cartouche with four stylized plants. The clasp is a flat ratchet box. This clasp can be worn as a pendant, sentimental jewelry from Normandy, France, mid-19th century.
Partially erased eagle head hallmark (French state hallmark for 18 karat gold)

Condition: some losses to the enamel
