Fancy brown diamond ring

Fancy brown diamond ring in 850 platinum. This ring features a center brilliant-cut fancy diamond, its brown color shimmering with orange highlights. The diamond weighs 0.79 carats and is set with eight prongs. The setting dates from the early 20th century and was likely later replaced with the diamond.
Dog's head hallmark for platinum, goldsmith's hallmark partially erased.
