Antique french gimmel ring

The ring is composed of two interlocking bands adorned with a subtle striated pattern. It opens and closes through a clever nesting mechanism. Inside the band, faintly visible names can be seen, along with the date 1865. These secret rings were very popular in the mid-19th century. This ring can be worn by a man.
