Enamel rings

Enamel rings are often part of the category of sentimental jewelry that was worn in the 19th century. These are jewels that were made in memory of the loved one or passed away. Depending on the color of the enamel these rings were jewels of joy or mourning. Often these jewels carry inscriptions or symbols, or even elements recalling the person for whom this jewel is intended. In the love context there are hidden messages, flaming hearts and they often include words like “friendship”, illustrations of pansy flowers or puns with the colors of the stones used.

Enamel rings can also be regional French jewelry. These are sought-after and rare jewels, real collector’s items. Here is the selection of Maison Mohs.
