Description
Victorian ruby diamond enamel ring in 18 karat yellow gold. On a black enamelled oval background, two rose-cut foiled diamonds frame a rectangular-cut ruby. All in bezel setting. The outline of the ring is richly decorated. Treated in openwork, shoulders are adorned with scrolls and dotted decoration. French work, circa 1870, Victorian period (French Napoleon III period).
