Description
Star Art Deco ring in white gold 18 karats (750) and platinum (850). Ring with oval bezel centered on a faceted synthetic ruby, surrounded by eight triangular synthetic rubies, forming a star. The whole is in a surround of eight rose-cut diamonds. Art deco ring, circa 1920. The use of synthetic stones in this period is very common, it was a technological feat and jewelers have used them in their creations until the 60s.
