Description
Augis love medal « More than yesterday Less than tomorrow » in 18 karats yellow gold. The “+” sign highlighted by a rose-cut diamond, the “-” sign by two square synthetic rubies. The quote taken from a letter from Rosmonde Gérard, the poet, to his love Edmond Rostand, the author of Cyrano de Bergerac: “Because, see you, every day I love you more, Today more than yesterday and much less than tomorrow”. Inspired by these two lovers, Alphonse Augis takes up these lines in his “love medals” by condensing them into “more than yesterday – tomorrow”. French pendant charm circa 1980.
