Victorian antique French wedding ring

Description

Victorian antique French wedding ring in 18 karat yellow and rose gold. The ring has three facets: the sides are decorated with cartouches with white enamelled flowers surrounded by a blue border on a golden background. In the centre, a blank cartouche composed of white and blue edging. The ring is delicately decorated with scrolls. It is a regional French jewel dating from the second half of the 19th century. 

The eagle’s head hallmark is partially erased and the goldsmith’s hallmark is illegible.

Finger size : 59 EU or 8,75 (sizeable) 

Width of the ring: 7 mm

Condition: a tiny lack of enamel, a small hole in the back of the ring to make it

Weight: 1.96 gr
