Description
Secret poison gold ring in 14 and 18 karat yellow and rose gold. Rare ring with a rectangular bezel and a secret compartment which opens on the top. The top is in rose gold, without decoration. The ring is richly decorated with an alternating infinity motif and a rhombus formerly enamelled in three colours (now missing). Hollow gold ring, alternating 18k et 14k gold. 19th century ring, probably English.
These rings are often referred to as “poison rings”, but they were more often used to keep souvenirs.
