French Savoyard loop earrings
Description
French Savoyard loop earrings in 18k yellow gold of triangular shape with soft angles. Wide, they are decorated with fine chiseling and volutes and embellished with 9 Verneuil sapphires (synthetic). In the center of the jewel, two Verneuil sapphires hang in pendeloque. Second hand earrings, regional jewel, Savoie, France. 20th century.
Eagle head hallmark, goldsmith’s hallmark.

Note : the fastening system works, the earrings are put on by the back of the lobe. For pierced ears.
