Jade cocktail ring in blackened 18 karat gold. The ring is adorned with a rose flower made of rubies, blooming on a plate of jade (variety Maw Sit Sit) of an intense green. The plate is surrounded by a green gradation of tsavorite garnets. The ring is made entirely of blackened gold, with an openwork wave pattern, encrusted with black diamonds. Contemporary ring attributed to Wendy Yue, unsigned.
Hallmark 750 inside the ring and Edinburgh hallmark
The main stone is a Maw Sit Sit jade belonging to the jadeite category. The only existing deposit is in Burma, it is a stone composed of six different minerals very rich in chromium which gives it its intense green color. It is extremely rare to find it in jewelry.

Victorian French enamel foiled paste cross pendant in silver. This cross is in silver with filigree decoration, forming a cross adorn with paste faceted pink glasses on spangles meant to have a look of pink topaz. A black enamel decoration with white dots covers the entire pendant. A glass bead adorns the upper part of the composition. The bezels are completely closed. Georgian mourning hair ring in 14k pink gold. An antique locket ring keeping a braid of hair enclosed behind glass crystal. It is framed by a halo of 16 seed pearls and the settings is formed by two separated strands adorned with an openwork pattern. Jewel from the beginning of the 19th century, circa 1810-1830.

Hair jewellery was very popular in the 18th and 19th centuries. Jewellery with compartments made it possible to keep a lock of hair of a lover or a missing person (later it will be the photograph). It can be a medallion or a ring for example. There are also jewels made from hair, such as necklaces, chains, bracelets and rings. These hair jewels are worked like textiles: they are woven, embroidered, twisted. A whole craft industry developed around this new fashion, which lasted until the end of the 19th century.

Victorian agate cameo pendant in yellow gold 18 karats decorated with the profile of the goddess Flora, wearing flowers in her hair. The agate has three layers: gray for the background, white for the profile, brown for the flowers in the hair. The cameo is set with fleur-de-lis claws. Four old- European cut diamonds, as well as eight rubies (including a red stone) frame the cameo on a curved black enamel band. Jewel of the second half of the 19th century, French Napoleon III period or Victorian period.

Condition : small accident on the upper flower button of the headdress, a very slight jump of enamel in the thickness on the left part. A ruby that has been replaced by a red stone (top right).
Note: this jewel has been transformed, the pendant was originally a brooch.
Weight of the stones: the 4 diamonds weigh about 0.32 carat in total; the 7 rubies weigh about 0.35 carat in total.
