Description
Antique victorian enameled pendant in metal of oval shape. The center is decorated with 4 faceted pink and grey pastes, forming a cross, alternated with 4 half pearls. The whole is in an openwork surround and the metal worked in beads. The outline of the medallion is decorated with 18 green glasses in a jagged frieze, surrounded by a frieze of black enamel with white dots. French work circa 1860, in the taste of Carlo Giuliano, Napoleon III era, victorian period.
Note: this antique victorian enameled pendant originally had a part at the back that allowed to wear a souvenir, however the second part has disappeared as evidenced by the remaining hinge on the back. This does not alter the charm of this jewel.
