Description
Antique diamond leaf earrings made of silver and 18 karat pink gold. A lovely pair of antique leaf-shaped earrings. The leaves are in silver set with five rose-cut diamonds. Regional earrings from Provence in France, 19th century.
Swan hallmark (800) and owl hallmark

Historical point : in the Provence region, earrings were widely worn from the first half of the 19th century. Provençal women took the habit to decorate their earrings with coral pearls, faceted balls or rose-cut diamonds.
