Victorian double snake ring in yellow gold 18 karats (750) and silver. This ring is made by two snakes wrapping around the finger. The heads of the two reptiles are surmounted by a Dutch rose-cut diamond. The heads are delicately chiselled and come to rest on the two rows formed by the body of the animal. Gold Cartier compact powder case in 18 Karat Gold (750). A small box designed as a powder compact, opening to reveal two compartments: one containing face powder accompanied by an ostrich feather applicator; the other capable of holding a small lipstick. A verre églomisé mirror allows for makeup application. The box is delicately adorned with fine stripes on the lid and base. The ends of the box are enamelled in black. The push-button is made of platinum and embellished with two baguette-cut diamonds, each weighing 0.05 carats. An antique Cartier London powder compact, circa 1930, London.

Art Deco diamond locket in gold 18 karats (750) and platinum. This rare medallion is a photo holder, fully enamelled in black matte on both sides and its bail. It is decorated with a circular pattern in platinum, set with 42 rose-cut diamonds. The medallion opens and can conceal a photograph, which is wedged under a thin glass plate and a gold circle (present inside the medallion). On the two inner faces, the gold has been polished in successive rounds that form a pattern. The clasp of the jewel is decorated with black enamel and set with four rose-cut diamonds. Tank ruby diamond scroll ring in yellow, pink and white gold 18 karat. Beautiful tank ring decorated in the centre of eight diamonds (brilliant cut and 8/8) in a white gold setting. The central diamonds are surrounded by two lines of four calibrated rubies. This geometric composition of rubies and diamonds is itself framed by two high-volume gold scrolls set with two lines of nine 88-cut diamonds. The jeweller and goldsmith plays with the volumes, the curved and geometric lines and the colours of the gold. Tank ring from 1945.

Antique Augis ring “more than yesterday less than tomorrow” in yellow gold 18 karats (750), signed. The ring is surmounted by an oval plate delicately worked in laurel leaves, which have slightly faded with time. The ring is soberly decorated and separates into two strands of gold on the edges of the tray. The “+” sign is set with five diamonds and the “-” sign is set with a baguette cut treated natural ruby. This refers to a quote from a letter from Rosmonde Gérard, the poetess, to her love Edmond Rostand, the author of Cyrano de Bergerac: “For, you see, every day I love you more, Today more than yesterday and much less than tomorrow”. Inspired by these two lovers, Alphonse Augis takes up these verses in his “medals of love” by condensing them into “+ than yesterday – than tomorrow”.

Solitaire diamond ring made of yellow 18 karats gold set with a Perruzzi cut diamond weight 0,20 carat, with a whirl prong setting.
At the end of the 17th century, Vincenzo PERUZZI invented the diamond’s cut with 58 facets. Named the “Peruzzi cut”, it is similar to the brilliant cut by a number of facets and by its proportions.

French marquess crown brooch in yellow, rose gold 18 karats and platinum. Antique brooch representing a marquees crown. The base of the crown is decorated with round rubies and oval emeralds in a circular and triangular setting. These gems are framed by two lines of rose-cut diamonds in a platinum beaded setting. At the top, there is a stylized fleur-de-lis motif in a diamond setting, alternating with pearls. A decorative chain with jaseron mesh runs along both sides of the base of the crown.
