Victorian double snake ring in yellow gold 18 karats (750) and silver. This ring is made by two snakes wrapping around the finger. The heads of the two reptiles are surmounted by a Dutch rose-cut diamond. The heads are delicately chiselled and come to rest on the two rows formed by the body of the animal. Wavy diamond tank ring in 18 karat (750) rose gold and platinum. The ring is adorned with 14 rose-cut diamonds set on a platinum base, arranged in two rows. The ring creates a voluminous wave-like pattern. This tank ring is from the Retro period, circa 1940, in France.

Jewellery history: Retro jewellery is characterised by the use of yellow gold, the development of 3-D volumes and the rarity of precious stones. Here we have a perfect example of such jewellery: a large volume. The Second World War had a considerable impact on jewellery fashion at the time, sweeping aside the Art Deco taste for ‘white’, geometric ‘flat’ and abundant gemstones.
Belle Epoque diamond bracelet in 14 karat gold and platinum. This Belle Epoque bracelet features oval links, with a larger link at the center set with fourteen old mine and rose-cut diamonds. The central diamond is set in a closed setting and weighs approximately 0.10 carats. The main link is bordered by two links set with rose-cut diamonds (six in total). It dates to around 1900, during the Belle Epoque period, and likely has origins in England.

Owl and swan hallmarks (French State hallmarks for 18-karat gold and silver)
Art Deco enamel pendant watch in 18 karat yellow gold (750) and platinum. A rare rectangular-shaped pendant watch, enameled on one side in green color and adorned with a blossoming branch motif influenced by Japanese Arts. The four flowers are represented by 23 rose-cut diamonds. The four corners of the jewel are set with four rose-cut diamonds. The bale is richly decorated with 6 rose-cut diamonds set in platinum. The back of the jewel reveals an Arabic numeral dial arranged in reverse, ensuring that the time is visible when the piece is worn as a pendant. Art Deco pendant watch, circa 1930.

Retro ruby diamond compact powder in sterling silver and vermeil. The case is in silver, decorated in the centre with a large vermeil band with a floral composition in a vase. The flowers are decorated with six ruby cabochons and eight rose-cut diamonds.
The powder case contains a bevelled mirror. It opens in two parts. French work in the taste of Boucheron Paris, circa 1945.

Tank coral diamond ring in 18 karat (750) white gold and platinum. The ring is centred on an orange coral pearl surrounded by two rolls of gold and framed by two lines of eight rose-cut diamonds (sixteen in all). The jewellery features the geometric lines typical of tank jewellery. Tank ring, circa 1940.
