It features the head of a lioness with an open mouth, holding an old mine cut diamond set in a closed setting. The lioness’s head is intricately detailed, showcasing its fur. The realistic naturalistic craftsmanship of this piece is quite exquisite, reminiscent of pins designed by Boivin around 1906. Edwardian period.

It is stamped with the owl hallmark.

2300,00€Art Deco diamond locket in gold 18 karats (750) and platinum. This rare medallion is a photo holder, fully enamelled in black matte on both sides and its bail. It is decorated with a circular pattern in platinum, set with 42 rose-cut diamonds. The medallion opens and can conceal a photograph, which is wedged under a thin glass plate and a gold circle (present inside the medallion). On the two inner faces, the gold has been polished in successive rounds that form a pattern. The clasp of the jewel is decorated with black enamel and set with four rose-cut diamonds. The central diamonds are surrounded by two lines of four calibrated rubies. This geometric composition of rubies and diamonds is itself framed by two high-volume gold scrolls set with two lines of nine 88-cut diamonds. The jeweller and goldsmith plays with the volumes, the curved and geometric lines and the colours of the gold. Tank ring from 1945.
