At the end of the 17th century, Vincenzo PERUZZI invented the diamond’s cut with 58 facets. Named the “Peruzzi cut”, it is similar to the brilliant cut by a number of facets and by its proportions.
Eagle’s head hallmark. Illegible silversmith’s mark.

6200,00€Art Deco style sapphire ring in white gold 18 karats. Important ring with an Art Deco style, within its center an intense blue sapphire of octagonal form. This is a natural sapphire from Madagascar. This sapphire is in close setting and surrounded by twenty-four brilliant diamonds set in grain, in a structure with pearl pattern. The shoulders of the ring are adorned with 10 brilliant cut diamonds. The ring has thirty-four diamonds in total. Perfect for an engagement ring, it is from late 20th century in an Art Deco style. Made in France.
