Signet rings

According to the common definition, signet rings are rings whose top widens into a tray engraved with a coat of arms or initials, or adorned with one or more set stones.

Most of the time the signet ring is worn on the little finger. It is often a family heirloom, but not always. Many people wear or look for signet rings with antique intaglios, on carnelian, blood jasper or other hard stones. It is a small ring but with a massive appearance that knows how to be noticed. In general signet rings are rings for men, but many women also wear them. The shapes of signet rings differ depending on whether they are worn by a man or a woman.
