Charms

The definition of a charm is: “a small piece of costume jewelry worn on a chain or bracelet”. They have been popularized under the English name of “charms” or breloque in French. Thus charms are small elements, often figurative, that are worn on a bracelet or necklace. Most of the time they have a particular meaning for their owner. They can take the form of animals, buildings, objects representing a sport or a passion such as reading, soccer, cooking.

They are rarely worn alone and accumulate on the jewel to which they are attached. Charms and charms are often given as gifts because they are accessible and allow for easy collection maintenance.
