Long earrings

Antique long earrings are a form of earrings that drop quite low under the lobe and give an elongated effect to the neck and nape. These earrings were common as early as the end of the 18th century (they are called girandoles), and throughout the 19th century long earrings were kept on the ears. Creoles, poissardes, are varieties of French regional earrings.
