2800,00€Georgian Italian ruby cluster ring in 14 karat gold (585). Late 18th century cluster ring with 9 table-cut rubies. Each shoulder of the ring is also set with 3 rubies. The ring is richly decorated with rinceaux and stylized leaves. Like most rings from this period, the ring head is secured with a rivet. Ring from the Mediterranean basin, probably Italy, circa 1780.
Unreadable guarantee hallmark, 14k tested gold.
Finger circumference: 56 EU or 7.5 US (possible sizing at the risk of missing ring decoration).

More information : there are several examples of rings identified as Italian in the British Musuem, and although it is known that these designs were also made in Spain, there are no Spanish models referenced in museums. However, this style can be found throughout Southern Europe: Italy, Spain and Portugal, and can be explained by the presence of the Habsburgs during the 16th and 17th centuries in regions such as Sicily, Sardinia, Naples and Milan.

This ring features an oval setting centered with a rose-colored glass cabochon, simulating a ruby, surrounded by a black enamel striated design. The shoulders of the ring are subtly decorated with fluting. The ring dates back to the Napoleon III period, French Victorian period, circa 1870/1890.
Hallmark: Owl (French hallmark for 18-karat gold).
Ring size: 59 EU or 8.75 US (resizable).
Setting dimensions: 12 x 9.5 mm.
Condition: Shows signs of wear, small lack of enamel and small scratches on the cabochon.

Each one is centered with a round ruby which are arranged in staggered and thus form a trio of rubies in diagonal. A late 19th century ring.

1120,00€Antique Augis ring “more than yesterday less than tomorrow” in yellow gold 18 karats (750), signed. The ring is surmounted by an oval plate delicately worked in laurel leaves, which have slightly faded with time. The ring is soberly decorated and separates into two strands of gold on the edges of the tray. The “+” sign is set with five diamonds and the “-” sign is set with a baguette cut treated natural ruby. This refers to a quote from a letter from Rosmonde Gérard, the poetess, to her love Edmond Rostand, the author of Cyrano de Bergerac: “For, you see, every day I love you more, Today more than yesterday and much less than tomorrow”. Inspired by these two lovers, Alphonse Augis takes up these verses in his “medals of love” by condensing them into “+ than yesterday – than tomorrow”.

1615,00€French marquess crown brooch in yellow, rose gold 18 karats and platinum. Antique brooch representing a marquees crown. The base of the crown is decorated with round rubies and oval emeralds in a circular and triangular setting. These gems are framed by two lines of rose-cut diamonds in a platinum beaded setting. At the top, there is a stylized fleur-de-lis motif in a diamond setting, alternating with pearls. A decorative chain with jaseron mesh runs along both sides of the base of the crown. French brooch, late 19th century.
