Focus on: Georges Lenfant (20th century)

Georges Lenfant started as an apprentice in jewelry-making at a very young age and very quickly set up his workshop in Paris, rue des Petits-Champs, a few steps from Place Vendôme, where he worked for the greatest names before starting to sign his creations. He worked in close collaboration with Sandoz and together they created magnificent Art Deco pieces. In 1915 his son Jacques joined the workshop, h will took over from his father. The house will specialize in chains and knitting which Jacques will become a virtuoso and a passionate. You can find the book he wrote on this subject, a real compendium for chain lovers.
